The Open Spaces working party was launched in 2003 to:
* consider and investigate existing provision of open spaces for amenity use in the area of benefit;
* consider and investigate areas of improvement and enlargement of existing provision;
* consider and investigate new provision off open spaces for amenity use in the area of benefit; and
* make recommendations and present possible funding opportunities to the Board on the above
It has also been tasked by the Board to carry out these recommendations.
