Three Rivers Unity Lottery

A rewarding way to support your local community. Money raised through the Unity Lottery is distributed by the Three Rivers Community Partnership to good causes in Gillingham and surrounding parishes.

In 2009 we launched the Three Rivers Unity Lottery to raise funds to support community projects. £21,850 has been raised to date by local people who sign up to the Unity Lottery. Projects supported include RiversMeet, Town Meadow, NorDDIS, East Stour Village Plan, Jubilee Party on the Rec, Gillingham Easy Read Project, Gillingham Job Club and the Motcombe Cycle Way.

How the money is spent

50% is distributed via community grants and 50% is put aside for the Community Hall fund. To date, £15,000 has been set aside for the Community Hall fund. The options and preferred location for a Community Hall/Facility will be explored as part of the Neighbourhood Plan process with engagement and consultation from residents.

How the Lottery works

For just £1 per week you will be allocated a six digit number. Every Saturday the lucky winners are selected for a cash prize. Winners have to match 3,4,5 or all 6 digits of the winning number to win. You must be 16 or over to enter.
